playlist in android auto - shuffle button

hello. I have noticed some changes while playing playlist in android auto. after tap on playlist there were buttons for shuffle on the left side and repeat on right side, now there are 10 seconds fast back and forward buttons. I would like to see shuffle button. I could not find an option for this. also, in split screen mode before it showed track number like " 123/456 " but now is missing. seems like it came with an update. need back the old user interface with shuffle button and track no. / track qty in playlist. thanks

This is a known issue with the AA detection logic. It is resolved in the 3.6.0 beta releases.

How can I update to the 3.6.0 beta ? I have joined the beta program, but Google Play Store only lets me have 3.5.7
The VLC for Android official download page .apk is 3.5.4
