Using VLC for android Auto and audio playback in album/song order

Hi:

I'm looking for and Android Auto media player to play music in album/song order one after the other and switch to the next album/song just like using a car stereo. I don't want to use playlists because I don't need them + of o don't want to hear something I can play the next song, but one after the other without stopping and automatically playing the next album in sorted by artist/album name order is what I want to do.

Is this possible?

No, not at present. There is no selection under My Library\Albums for Play All (or Shuffle All). VLC will play in album order if you select Play All under My Library\Artist or My Library\Genre.

If you go in via the Album tab in the app, long press on each album cover and go to "..." in the upper right corner. Select "Add to playlist" and create a playlist containing all of your albums. They will save in album\track order and will be accessible from Android Auto.
