VLC Fire Stick does not resume videos

I have finally got my vlc playing videos from Synology Video station ( It stii says the Synology Video directory in empty, but when I start the playback of a video in videostation I get a message if I will play it with VLC)
But now I have another problem: When I stop a video, the next time I open it again it will not play from the point where I stopped it, but always play from the beginning. I tested several points in the settings but no change. Can anybody help me with this ? Thanks in advance
