Names on channel playlist not correctly showed (shows index)

I installed VLC player on an Android TV box.
I created a playlist with all channels from a stream (m3u).
But although in other media players the name shows like BBC, France2,... here in VLC the name is showed like master.m3u8 / index.m3u8,... (name of link)
So very difficult to navigate to the right channel
Can I automatically change it tin VLC to display the right name (in settings ?) ?

Hi, if I load for example this playlist https://iptv-org.github.io/iptv/categories/cooking.m3u
and I save it to my playlist I don't get the correct name. (get the link names like index.m3u8, master.m3u8,...)
I only have this on the Android version of VLC, not on the windows Version.

Are you adding this URl in the streams in the "More" screen?

Yes I added in the 'More' screen (New stream)
Afterwards I save to playlist
Did you try in Android ?

Even after adding it to a playlist, VLC was able to retrieve the names. Could you please share a screenshot of what you get?

Hi, I took a picture from the VLC playlist on my Android smartphone.
VLC 3.5.4. is installed.
I have the same issue like on my Android TV box (not on my Windows VLC version !)
