audio setting for DAP

Hi everybody,
I have just treated myself to my first DAP, a Hiby R6 Pro II. Everything is good and I'm enjoying my hi-res FLACs. But as much as I like sitting back, listening to classical music, I also like to watch concert videos and operas. I've installed the VLC player for that. My question is:
Do I need to make any adjustments for the audio settings to bypass the Android system?

Let me rephrase that question so: Has anybody any recommendations regarding adjustments in the audio settings when using VLC on a DAP in general?
