Firestick MacOS Ventura 13.1 SMB Help

Hi folks

I’ve been using VLC to watch movies on my TV (firestick) using SMB through my Mac for some time.
However, I recently went to watch a movie and VLC can no longer see the content of the shared folder on my Mac.
I have reinstalled VLC and entered the settings correctly or so I believe. But VLC doesn’t even ask for a username and password for my Mac shared folder. Not sure if this is down to me installing MacOS Ventura.
Can anyone help?

This is a problem with VLC for Android technically and not with your Mac, so I'm moving this topic to the correct section.

Could you please share some logs? Reproduce the issue and then go to: Settings > Advanced > Debug logs.
To retrieve the logs on Android TV, you should follow this: https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.ph ... ck#p509973
Then share the logs with the sharing service you prefer (Google Drive, Dropbox, pastebin...).
