I know you were talking about Windows and your issue is also being taken care of.

My message was for the previous persons having issues on Android.

We pushed a fix yesterday and it should be included in today's nightly. Could you please folks try this version and confirm that the discovery no longer fails?
Here is the nightly link:
- armv8: https://artifacts.videolan.org/vlc-andr ... 0-0126.apk
- armv7: https://artifacts.videolan.org/vlc-andr ... 0-0126.apk

I am really sorry, Saturday's build did not have the fixes.
Could you try with this version instead?

armv8: https://artifacts.videolan.org/vlc-andr ... 2-0827.apk

armv7: https://artifacts.videolan.org/vlc-andr ... 2-0818.apk

BTW, debug logs have been re-enabled on Android TV on that build

Installed v 3.5.2 from the Play Store, no fix for me, my problem remains exactly the same. Doesn't see subs, doesn't show the time remaining, cannot rewind or fast forward. Returned to v 3.4.4 again.
My post was here - https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?t=160389
