Aligning video to top of the screen on Android?

I'm using VLC for Android on Amazon Fire TV.
I trying to align video to top of the screen as in this post: https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?t=141880 by entering --align=4 in Custom libVLC options text field.
But video remains still in the center.
What I'm doing wrong?

OK, it seems that there is a bug in Android version, which cause ignoring this parameter.

It seems that --align=8 aligns video to top of the screen (according to documentation should to bottom).
But --align=4 didn't work at all (should align video to top).
