How do i change the small pictures?

How do i change the small pictures that shows with the music files?
I want to decide what picture
Is shown with the music files, but i cant find where to do that.
Do anyone knows how to do that?

This is the album artwork in the id3 tag. You can use a tag editor to change it.

In VLC 3.3.0 -> 3.3.2, the app gives the priority to any image file stored in the same folder than the audio file, so you can also just add an image there. but this will be changed in an upcoming version.

But i think you mean the picture that belong to the file from the beginning. As a part of the package so to speak.
But i meant the picture that vlc put there and deleted the "package" file.
Vlc take a pict from my photo gallery and put it there instead without me knowing and even not wanted there.
I do not understand why this is happend, and i really dont want vlc to do that
What can i do to change that and also put a picture that i want in the same place. Or just take back the original.
Do you know how to do that?

If I understand what you're saying, the answer is in my previous message.

So if you get unwanted pictures for audio file artworks, just put your media in a folder that does not contain any image file.

I dont umderstand what that means. Stored in the same folder? What folder?
They are different apps, that is all i know. If it was on a computer, then i would know what that means, but this i an android phone and there i no folders to put apps in. There are no explorer ad in windows.
How do you change folders for apps? And how is it possible to do that without affecting its functionallity?
As you can see, english is not my native language, so perhaps i musunderstod you.
If so, can you explain in a simplier way?

I really dont understand.
I cant see that the image
Is stored in the same folder.
The images is not in the same folder if
I look in the files-app.
That is the only way i can check
All my files.

You can connect your phone to a laptop or PC. Then browse to the music folder where all the music is stored. Every album will have a seperate folder with your mp3 files and picture in it. A mp3-file can have a picture in the file itself which you can replace with a Tag-editor like Tag&Rename. When there is a picture in the folder, it will be shown in VLC-player. When there are more pictures in the folder he will choose in alphabetical order. So Albumart.jpg will be shown instead of folder.jpg. Albumart.jpg is always a hidden file which can be dispayed on your pc when you check the box "show hidden files". Also, when VLC-player has 'seen' this album with a certain Album name, it will not update the replaced picture. You'll have to delete and rebuilt the entire music library.

It did worked in my moto g9 play.
Nu but not in my moto g6.(android 7)
Is it to old for the 3.3.3. beta?

No it's not. If you entered the beta program, please verify you are using the same Google account to log in to the Play Store.

In google i signed up for beta test.
The i installed the vlc update.
And now it is working beautifully.
(Last time i did not had to sign up in google play.
I used the Link you provided (for the moto g9 play)
And that worked fine.

Now I have a working vlc in both my phones.
