VLC not showing progress icon and not asking to resume playback

Using latest version of vlc and let's say a video has been played partially VLC no longer shows the indicator showing it was partially played

Also I have ask on resume turned on but it's not asking

Lastly the icon showing a video was played also is no longer showing. Attached logcat for playback resume not generating message

What version are you using?
3.3.3 Beta 3

Tested on Note 10+ running android 10 and Samsung Tablet T835 running android 9
