How definitiv delete cover picture on android ?

android 8.0.0 (samsung smartphone S7)
CD: The 3 Tenors → one mp3-album with 27 tracks
ID3 tag: ID3v2.4 (ID3v2.4)
jpg pictures 300 x 300 pixels

1. I am good enough experienced with one cover picture for album a in mp3-tag
2. Now I have experimented with four pictures in one album, one picture for the album cover (type Album Cover in mp3tag.exe) and one picture for every of the three tenors (type Media in mp3tag.exe). Every tenor alone has three tracks, therefore 9 tracks have got medium pictures + album picture. The last 18 have only the album cover picture.
The pack of mp3´s with no pictures is copied to the stick of the S7 smartphone.
3. Result: The hole album has only the album cover picture. The medium pictures, which represented the artists I could not see anywhere. Thats why I have deleted this album at the smartphone stick and I have deleted the medium-db in VLC.
4. On the PC I have deleted the album cover for this album on all the 27 tracks. Only the 9 tracks have the Media covers. Now I have copied this pack on the stick of smartphone.
5. I have started the VLC and I can see the deleted album cover oncemore!
How does I can delete this Cover Picture?

VLC 3.3.1 has a higher priority for image files stored in the same folder as the tracks. To favor the id3 tags, just remove the image files and rescan you folder.

To be honest, it's probably not a good solution and we are working on improving this detection for a future release.

Sorry, this is no solution, because there was never exists a picture in the folder! Only mp3´s with id3tags, see point 4 above.

I have a new example: Sabine Meyer - Klarinettenkonzerte CD 1...5, each CD alone with an individual front cover. The jpg I had self produced and linked in he mp3tag. Now I want all CD´s in one album. No problem? I give each CD the same name "Sabine Meyer - Klarinettenkonzerte CD1-5". But the result is: CD1 in a album alone with the old individual picture, CD2 ... CD5 in a second album with the old front cover of the CD5. The front cover of the 2..4 are not to seen.
Now I delete all this pictures and delete the link in the mp3tag to each of the CD´s, I produce a new album picture 200x200px and link only this as front cover with each of the CD´s.
But the result is the same as I dexcribed obove: Old picture at CD1 and old picture of CD5 at the other.
This is not correct and I can not correct it.
