Pause and Resume playback after call issue - not pausing

Hi all,

Version 3.3.1, Revision is 3470199f8 VLC: 28eddab6e (2020-10-06).

I'm running android samsung a5 (2017) android 8.0.0

VLC will not pause the music when a phone call is received despite having the setting "resume playback after call" is ticked. However i guess that option is talking about un-pausing so that might not actually be the issue!

I'm casting music to a chromecast. Can anyone else replicate this issue?

In addition, some players have the ability to use the volume buttons to control the audio volume on the chrome cast device. This feature doesn't seem to be available on VLC android at present. Is this being looked into perhaps?
