"Feature Request" Open with and Stream address

I just want to make a quick request for...

1) Make VLC an option in the "Open with" menu for m3u8 and m3u files.

2) When opening streams if for example I click a "history" item there's no way to edit it, so what happens a lot is that when inputting the URL I make a mistake like forgetting the http:// or I miss a letter and then I have re-type everything again so It would be nice if clicking an element in the history didn't open the URL instantly but It could give you the chance to edit the URL.

Sorry, I want to add that I'm trying to open the m3u8 file from Google Drive and it doesn't give the "Open with" option.
