Subtitles disapper after hitting puse

Postby SirThanxalot » 14 Jun 2018 19:22

My subtitles dissapear after restarting a video after hitting pause.
It also isnt possible to choose them again via the subtitle menu.

Only way to fix it is deleting vlc player via google play and re-installing it.
Pretty annoying.

Any suggestions?

I have the same issue, I use
VLC 3.0.11
Samsung Galaxy tab A 1 0
Android 7

I don't know if it matters, I play movies stored on a shared folder via local network.

I may have:
movieName.mp4
movieName.en.srt
movieName.es.srt
and, when opening it for the first time, the subtit le menu allows me to choose track 1, 2, 3, 4...
beeing 1 and 2, the english sub a nd 3,4 th spanish one and if the playing gets interrupted (for ex. b eing paused) when continuing the sub just disappeared and the subtitle men u is grayed out.
If I close V LC an d then restart it, then the s btitle menu is enabled again but iit shows just the first track
