DVD play in Android

I have an android TV smart box and an external USB DVD drive. I cannot play DVD's using the menues in the same way
I do with VLC player for Linux or Windows. Are you planning to support playing DVD's in this way?

I tried creating an ISO image from the DVD, as you suggested, and works fine. But I believe would be great if you
cuold add support for playing DVD's.

So the DVD menu isn't working with VLC for Android if played directly from iso files...same experience here.

Or did the DVD menu work in your case if you created an iso image? If yes, which application did you use for creating the iso image because in my case the menu doesn't work under Android but in Windows is everything fine. So I thought it's an issue with VLC for Android.

Would bei great if this issue would be solved in the near future because VLC is the best player for me (at least for me)!

Hello,
I created an ISO image with Nero and played the image with VLC for Android,
but I couldn't make the DVD menu work. The menu appeared but no items could
be selected. Then, I tried the same iso file with Kodi and worked fine.

I would like to play DVD's without creating an iso image first, but I couldn't find
any player under Android that can do that.

DVD navigation on TV is fixed.
Will be OK in v3.0.2.

Hi,

where can I download the nightlies for arm7 apk?
Under Android Oreo the DVD menu navigation still doesn't work with iso files. But I would also give the FireTV a try if I could find the suitable apk file for download.
