No Sound on VLC for Fire

Postby bradmyster » 06 Feb 2018 01:53

New to the site but looking for help with my issue. I am trying to play MPG files (DVD movies) that I have copies (legally) from my DVD collection to a USB hard drive that is plugged into my Linksys WiFi router. I can access all movies with no issues on all networked computers in the house (all Windows 10) running on VLC Media Player. I also have the VLC for Android player working on my Samsung Galaxy S5 cell phone and all movies play and work normal thru that player. Now to my issue. I recently installed VLC for Fire (on Fire Tablet). The movies play normal, but no sound whatever. I have verified all settings, volume, etc for the VLC for Fire player to no avail. All the movies are in MPG format, and verified the VLC for Fire player on the tablet is working (ran a personal movie in a MP4 format/ no issues). Any ideas or resolves?
