Album art problem

I am running 2.0.4 off of Google Play.

When I am playing audio files, I can see album art. When I press the icon that consists of three lines and a musical note, it shows a large album art picture.

However, the album art picture is enlarged so as to fit the vertical size of the screen, which means it is cut off at the right and left. Is it possible to show the album art enlarged by enough so that it fits inside the horizontal and verttical size, whichever is smaller, and is never cut off at the edges?

If not, is this a bug and can I report it?

Also, I have a usability suggestion: When playing audio, there should be an option to show the list of albums as name only without any small album art icons (the album art icon should continue to appear when it isn't in a list). Phones don't have much screen real estate compared to computers and the list can show many more useful lines when the entries in the list aren't made bigger by the album art icons.
