corrupt install on chromebook?

Since there isn't a separate forum for chromebooks (yet!) i'll try here - i just installed the app on a chromebook, but when i open it, i only get the white screen with the traffic cone - no menu, no config to set media folder, nothing. i've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, no change. What are my next steps?

You should read the instruction on the webstore first start.

First start

At the first run, you need to select a folder where all your medias are!
This is where the media database will index from!

It will popup the file app when first starting, select your folder let it scan and you will see the menu appear.
