VLC 1.6.6.1 Question

OK.. I've looked around and tried every way I can think of.

I'm not proud, I must be missing something.

How do I create a playlist in VLC Android? I've been using VLC Windows for years. I have a Nexus 6 phone and I have MP3s stored locally on the phone.

I cannot find a way to make a playlist of music files.

You can select the three dots next to a title (or long-press the name) and a modal dialog will popup with an "append" option. This will push an artist, track, genre, etc. to a temporary playlist. If you then go to the "now-playing" panel, you can see that playlist. There you can reorginize it, delete some items, and save it with the disk icon.
