I want to know which is the lastest stable version of VLC because the version 1.1.1 I downloaded from https://get.videolan.org/vlc-android/ dows not work well on my Xperia S.

VLC does not play any video with OpenGL which is better even total hardware acceleration enabled.

Sorry, you make no sense. Total acceleration has nothing to do with OpenGL.

That's OK. But I sill cannot play videos with Android Surface or OpenGL. Can you tell me which is the lastest stable version of VLC? Please.

No, it's not.

Of course, if you modify advanced options, that you have no idea about, it will fail.

I already modified the advanced options. I don't get any lags with OpenGL.

I forgot to mention that I choose OpenGL over Android Surface because it is the one which plays 1080p videos. In the version 1.1.2, I still have that problem.

Activate Hardware decoding in preferneces.

There is no hw acceleration in those logs.
