VLC won't play slightly broken Musepack files.

I've transcoded a bunch of files to Musepack using the official encoders and they play on foobar2000 and Poweramp but not in VLC. What more info would you guys like? I've tested the Play Store build, both F Droid 0.9.8 apks, the one on the site here... I've transcoded all kinds of files using Windows and Linux Musepack encoders. I'll get a demo file up shortly.

I've discussed this a bit more there. Files converted with foobar using the default Musepack encoding settings do not work. If I use the "decode to temporary file" option, they do work in VLC/Android. Not sure where the problem lies beyond that, but I've got enough to encode my files such that they work with my beloved cone player.

Does it work on the 2.2.0 nightly build for desktop?

Works on both vlc-2.2.0-git-20140614-0403-win64.exe (the last 2.2 nightly) and vlc-3.0.0-git-20140823-0402-win64.exe (the latest nightly).

A user on the Hydrogenaudio thread posts that he gets this error message: '(29575): core decoder: Could not convert timestamp 988076013825'

The problem still exists in version 1.7.5: files aren’t played but skipped — no such situation in desktop version 2.2.1 and other players.
