Hw decoder broken with latest nightly

I have activated hw acc. Tried both decoding acc. And full acc. in 4.1(jellybean). Working well.

I'm having a similar problem on my Samsung Galaxy S4. With hardware decoding disabled I can play okay. When it's enabled I get a blank screen and usually a hung app.

Log looks a little different - after this output there are no more log entries until I restart.

You mentioned it was working with the 2014-02-11 build, is it crashing with the build immediately after?
Which nightly build did you use to generate these logs? The log looks incomplete, I don't see much VLC related messages. What was your filtering level?

I have problem only on avi files and I have mentioned sample. I use vlc guide to create logcat log

Here I file this bug in kitkat first. I think if I will use kitkat, this problem will occur. I never have this problem with jellybean with any build of vlc except in avi file.

I already told you that I have used vlc guide to create log. Whenever I try to open any avi file vlc just shut down. Thats why it may give less log about vlc. Ok here is log from terminal with root access as well as from vlc dump option.
