Problem with HW decoding.
Trying VLC for Android in my Samsung Galaxy S4 using a 1080p video gave these results:
SW decoding: amazing quality, both sound and video.
HW decoding: same as SW, but I get a green line at the bottom, why?

it's not related to #8781.
It was a bug on our side which has been fixed recently. you can try with the latest nightly build.
