Since upgrade to Android 4.3 videos no longer works: only audio is played. I attach what I think is the relevant of the log.
Can anybody help, please?

I have the same problem. Just upgraded my nexus4 and nexus10 to android 4.3 JWR66V and cannot play video in none of them. I'm using latest Google Play VLC version. Thank you.

I think you should push to Google Play a 4.3 compatible version as soon as possible because 4.3 OTAs starting to fly over the world and you should receive lots of questions....

BTW: the light theme that comes with the nightly version is, IMHO, awful ..... I hope you mantain the elegant dark theme in the final version or, at least, gives the possibility to choose it.....

Hi! Had the same prob with two devices. My Nexus 7 runs it fine now again. But my Samsung Galaxy Nexus got the folllowing error on trying to update VLC - deinstall and try to reinstall - the same: [RPC:S-5:AEC-0].

Btw: Cheers for that great player! Using it for months on Android and since years on Windows PCs - nice job!

Did you clear data of Google Services Framework to force the Android 4.3 OTA on your GNex?

If the answer is yes you got a problem because that action carries several problems, the most visibles are:
- Google Play will not work showing the error you said.
- push notifications of all your apps may not work.
- Google sync may not work.

To solve Google Play problem and reenable push notifications and sync for Google apps you can delete your google account in the Gnex and then reenter it again. To reenable push notifications for non Google apps you can either reinstall or clear data for every affected app, one by one, and set up their preferences from the beginning...
