Passing "last played position" back and forth

Postby ppan » 05 Jun 2013 18:48

Hi,

Could you provide an Intent API for VLC Android.

The app I am using, Serenity for Android, needs VLC to pass its offset position after reading a video, and accept an offset position from Serenity. This is to keep consistency in my last played position. Without that, the videos launched by Serenity with VLC always start from scratch and I cannot play where I left it off.

Could you provide such an API? This is critical for me to make VLC for Android my default video player.

For your information, MX Player provides such an API, but I don't want to make MX Player my default player.

Regards,

Stay tuned, we're working on this and will have a test build for this soon.
