[Bug Report] Deleting file from VLC menu

Postby fprietog » 28 Feb 2013 07:36

Hello,

Code: Select all

VLC Beta v0.0.9 (Google Play) SmartPhone "LG Nexus 4" Android 4.2.2
I know that sometimes when you delete a file from VLC menu it really deletes another file. And I know that it's related to "Directories" view management. Unfortunately I haven't managed to reproduce it (yet) so I can't explain how it happens...

But during my tests trying to reproduce it I've found another little bug related to deleting files and directory management. I've included a crappy video to show it (sorry for the lack of quality) and can be reproduced easily:
http://rt002nf0.eresmas.net/Temp/VIDEO_001.avi

- Select "Audio" view and play a random song (In video: "Proud Mary").
- Leave it playing and push Back then select "Directories" view.
- Push in any other file in order to select "Delete" (in video: "37 Grados").
- When you push "Delete" VLC automatically starts playing another file (in video: "Al natural"). I think that the file suddenly played is the first file of the next folder from the file you have selected to delete, but I'm not 100% sure (it may be a random file).

Thanks and best regards.

Hi,

I've just tested this nightly version:
http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/arm ... 4-0110.apk

And the reported bug is solved. Thank you very much.

But audio output is broken in this nightly version. It doesn't plays any sound (I tried both java and open GL)...

Thanks and best regards.
