VLC om xtreamer prodigy

Postby Pla Fundum » 11 Feb 2013 19:54

Hi, I want to run VLC on xtreamer prodigy. The thing will not be recognized by play.google.com or other Andoid app websites.

So I want to install VLC manualy, via APK. It it not hard, just download apk and run it via a file browser.

Question is: what stable (!) package to choose? And where to find? Here? http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/

The xtreamer is running Realtek processor, so not an ARM cpu.
System: FIRMWARE 4.0.1, In Xtreamer Prodigy we also introduce Android 2.2.1

I am root on the device.
Any usefull commands to see what libs are loaded or waht Android libs / versions are installed?

Thanks,

Pla.

Ah, that's the tool I was waiting for. My screen is rather bad, other screen in kids room -> sleeping. Will get that tomorrow-evening.

Meanwhile: Can I run terminal commands to get info? I am root.

Thanks a lot!

Aha, but do I need sysinfo for that? Anyway:

Code: Select all

system type : (null) processor : 0 cpu model : MIPS 24Kc V8.5 FPU V0.0 BogoMIPS : 530.84 wait instruction : yes microsecond timers : yes tlb_entries : 32 extra interrupt vector : yes hardware watchpoint : yes, count: 4, address/irw mask: [0x0e18, 0x07c8, 0x00f8, 0x0dc8] ASEs implemented : mips16 shadow register sets : 1 core : 0 VCED exceptions : not available VCEI exceptions : not available
What output do you want from sysinfo tomorrow?
