VLC on Samsung Galaxy SII

Postby pr0blematic » 02 Aug 2012 15:30

Sprint Epic 4G Touch

Using the 8/1 nightly NEON build. (Also confirmed bug on 0.0.2)

For some reason, trying to play an mkv (h.264 720x540) with dual audio (AAC) and soft subtitles, the video stutters back and forth throughout playback like someone did a horrible job deinterlacing the video.
EDIT: Tested again, and it appears this only happens when hardware acceleration is enabled.

All other videos I've tried seem to play back normally.

Thanks to the development team for all of your hard work.

Is hardware acceleration enabled in preferences?

It was. When I disabled it the stuttering stopped.
