HD Playback

Tested on - 4.0.4 ICS (Xperia neo v)

HD playback (720p) is not so smooth. Audio quality is good but some times screen stays still.
The native player in the mobile supports HD Play back.

I tried playing avi,fly and other mp4 files those are working fine.

Is HD Playback supported currently ?

Did you try playback with hardware acceleration (look in VLC preferences)?

By default hardware acceleration was disabled.By the way, will this impact battery performance ?

Increasing hardware acceleration should save you batter life (in theory) because the processor has to do less work to decode your videos.
