It is already implemented for videos I think. Was wondering if a "continue where last played"
The Kindle Fire runs Android and has a compatible processor, so I think that you could just use the nightly build: http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/Will there be a version released for the kindle fire in the future?
I don't think it is... or else I can't find it anywhere in the settings. The default behavior for playback seems to be to start from the beginning. It is already implemented for videos I think.

I can confirm it works on a rooted KF; no idea about a stock one.The Kindle Fire runs Android and has a compatible processor, so I think that you could just use the nightly build: http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/
The feature has already been implemented, but please keep in mind that it will not work on network videos or certain types of videos (such as OGG).My KF is currently rooted running a custom stock ROM which can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=1439916. I was able to install the vlc .apk the day it went into beta testing and have been running it since. I can confirm that playback resumes at the beginning and doesn't pick up where you last played/viewed. I looked in the settings and there isn't a setting for that either. So this might be a cool feature if it can be implemented once the app goes official. Plus it would be good to make a KF version of the app so people that don't wanna root the KF can install it from the Amazon Market.
Perfect thx! Installing right now.
