VLC and Subtitles on ChromeCast

Hi,

I hve a samsung TV and I got a Chromecast too :)
I have a synology running DS VIdeo and all movies are mkv files. While running VLC, no issue but as soon as I select a Subtiles track the video i becoming jerky. Any idea which parameters should be changed?

To make it clear, you run the Android TV app on your chromecast, right? What do you mean by "it becomes jerky"?

In the settings, you can maybe try to change the Hardware acceleration preference and see if it's better.

The video is like losing frames... stop, play stop play multiple times.

Hi,

I disabled the hardware acceleration and got the same situation. No issue on Blu ray dlna. The hardware acceleration was set to automatic.
