Network folder issue

Tested in the latest 1.1.x rc3 and cannot add a network drive (samba share) to Media Library. Just finished testing in 1.2.0-git-20100614-0002 Twoflower, and the problem is there as well. This error looks to be somewhat related to Trac Ticket # 2960.

Here is the message log from 1.2.0... when trying to add folder - M:\ which is mapped \\THUServer\Data\Media\Music\FLAC:

I am running a prior 1.1.x release that does not have this error on another machine - currently mothballed - in the next few days/week, I'll see if I can figure out which nightly changed the network folder play from working to non-working.

EDIT: I should add that nothing is shown as added to the Media Library display, but the playlist does gain the folders, which can then be expanded to show the media files for playing.

You mean that if you add this to the playlist, it works, but not to the media library ?

No. I was adding to the Media Library. But only an error is generated - and nothing shows in the Media Library window. However, if I then look at the Playlist, the top level folders - Artists - are there, and double clicking on each there expands them to show the songs and they will play.
