Crash on hibernate

Postby RockyTDR » 08 Jun 2010 21:33

If you pause VLC, and then hibernate, VLC crashes on restart of the pc. The older versions of VLC don't have this issue (i use it all the time so i can easily watch a movie in parts, without having to search for the time I left off over and over again).

I hope this can be solved!
Thanks in advance

Re: Crash on hibernate

I confirm this on windows. It's not necessary to hibernate, just lock the session, unlock it, it has crashed.

Yesterday i reported an issue about vout module not being released after a stop(). I also noticed a crash if l lock/unlock the session. Today, it's fixed in the lastest 1.1 nightly build, no more crash after a stop.

But if i pause, the crash happens. So i think it has something to do with the vout modules.

Hope this helps ...
