Home Improvent / Hör mal wer da hämmert - DVD not played

Hi,

I want watch the DVDs from the Season 6 of home improvement/Hör mal wer da hämmert(Regional Code 2) but they want play with VLC.
When I use Cyberlink PowerDVD it works.

When I start the playback I can only see a grey picture.

Try the DVD menu trick:

If it still doesn't work then your DVD is using a new protection scheme that VLC can't play.

Does it help if you're doing this ? :

Tools -> Preferences -> Show settings: ALL
Input codecs -> Access modules -> DVD with menus
Untick the option "Start directly in menu".
Save the preferences then close and restart VLC.
