VLC crashes when moving the video slider bar

Not sure if this is bugged yet. Cannot seem to get into the Trac system to report. In 0.9.9 and now in 1.0.0-rc4, if one grabs the video slider and attempts to move it either left or right, it will cause VLC to crash to the desktop without throwing an error, but in 1.0.0 the user is informed that VLC closed unexpectedly and asks if the user wishes to report it when restarting the application.

I am using VLC Player 1.0.0-rc4 in Windows XP Professional w/ SP3. I have an AMD Processor x86 Family 15 Model 127 Stepping 1 AuthenticAMD ~2210 Mhz. 2 GB of RAM. My video card is an BFG PCI-E GeForce 9400GT w/ 512 MB DDR2 memory. Driver version for the video card is 6.14.11.8618. Mouse is a USB Wireless Optical mouse 2.0 using the 5.1.2600.0 drivers.

Steps to reproduce -
1. Open VLC and start playing any video file
2. Place the mouse pointer over the slider bar
3. Move the bar to the right about two inches
4. Note that the application crashes to the desktop

Works for me.

Jean-Baptiste,

Thanks for looking into this, but I can reproduce it quite regularly. All I have to do is drag the bar in either direction when a video is playing. If I click anywhere on the slider to move the bar, it doesn't crash. The crash only occurs if I use the mouse to drag the bar. If there is anything that I can submit to show what is happening, please let me know.

This is fixed, btw...
