0.8.6 vs 1.0

hi all,

after using 0.8.6 during very long time as a streaming server with vlm file (with background image with mosaic), I just upgraded one of my ubuntu server in VLC media player 1.0.0-rc2 Goldeneye.

so my first comments about 0.8.6i vs 1.0.0-rc2 :

1) encoding in mpeg2 is much better in 0.8.6i ; with 1.0 it's jerky, get pixels..

2) with my vlm (used in mosaic) file that I tranformed to be usuable with 1.0, I use image for background (to stream) when I don't receive any stream to restream.
When no stream is received, I get my image, but if stream is received then stopped... vlc stops by itself whereas it should stream again my image file
