Splitted RAR issues on .mkv and .iso

So as far as it's going: with an avi container, it's working real fine when stored on splitted rar.

However VLC experience difficulties when it's about to play an MKV container. The symptoms are :
1. it's just like it's doing nothing
2. on some other files, VLC is doing things then play part of the video with wrong aspects

Problems are here too when playing dvd files, the menu and the tracks are not showing up.
Also, this doesn't happen with VLC 0.9.9 and the plugin VLCUnrar
Maybe I could help better with logs, how can i provide those?

Are these compressed or just segmented rar's ? (Sounds like an issue with seeking to me).

Those archives are segmented rars only, because I can play the same rarred mkv and the same rarred iso in XBMC just fine.

By the way using the RAR file source DirectShow filter I can play this same rarred mkv in Windows Media Player
