Is there a way to activate the recording function on the fly?
Or only at Play function?

You must explain yourself better with more details, if you want an answer...

I am working today with libvlc.dll 0.9.9 version and if i want to record the displayed stream,
i can do it only from the beggining (when the user press PLAY).
I know that new versions of VLC give the option saving a stream to a file at any point of time.
Is there a way to do so with new versions of libvlc.dll?

Recording is not directly exposed in the LibVLC API due to lack of developer time.

Is There an option through the RC interface?
