Does VLC support VAST (Video Ad Serving Template)?

Does anyone know if VLC support the Digital Video Ad Serving Template (VAST) 2.0 technology? http://www.iab.net/vast
If not, are there any plans in the (distant) future to incorporate this into VLC's development?
