Controling the UDP stream output port

I'm not sure its the right place to ask for a new feature but I coudn't find a better forum for that...
I use LibVlc in my project and need to control the UDP stream output port. Now its random and self determined...
Is it possible to add this feature in furure versions (with a corresponding api)?
