Hello

Looking to get some help with overlaying audio bars to an in coming IP stream(s). I have seen examples in the dev section, but thats way over my head. Does anyone able to dumb this down for me with a tutorial or guide. Any kind of help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

ok..so ive figured out how to use the vu meter, but it doesnt work. Im trying to stream(file based stream) from one PC to another. I get the vu meter and it shows a red alarm as if it isnt picking up the audio. However, you can hear it. Any ideas?

Using:
vlc -I oldrc --video-x 0 --video-y 0 --width 400 --height 300 --rc-host=localhost:12345 --audio-filter=audiobargraph_a --audiobarg
raph_a-address=localhost --audiobargraph_a-port=12345 --sub-filter audiobargraph_v --audiobargraph_v-alarm=1 udp://@ip:5000
