Return parameters --mtu

HI Forum,
I was wondering if it was possible to return the current stream setup, from VLC . I want away of verifying that I have configured the video stream setup is correct. Want to ensure that port setup is correct and also that the mtu size has been configured, is it possible to access these parameters directly from VLC?
