E: Unable to locate package libwine-dev

following the instructions to install the win32 toolchain at https://wiki.videolan.org/Win32Compile/#Obtaining_the_toolchain

Code: Select all

apt-get install wine64-development-tools libwine-dev zip p7zip nsis bzip2
which results in

E: Unable to locate package libwine-dev
I tried installing winehq to no effect.
fresh install of Ubuntu 16.04.6 in VM BirtualBox.
I'm a total Linux noob. Any clues?

Check how the CI does it https://code.videolan.org/videolan/docker-images/-/blob/master/vlc-debian-win32/Dockerfile
