Hi all.

Please understand my poor English.

My os version is ubuntu 14.04 LTS 32bits.
Target system is windows(xp~10) 32bits.

I have been trying to compile the vlc.
But failure is continue.

I used triplets i686-w64-mingw32, i586-mingw32msv.

When the ubuntu is 32bits and the target system is windows 32bits, may I use i686-w64-mingw32?
If the i686-w64-mingw32 is allowed, shold I modify /usr/share/pkg-config-crosswrapper?

I tried many versions, vlc-2.2.4, 2.2.3, 2.2.2, 2.0.0, 1.1.0, vlc from 'git clone http://git.videolan.org/git/vlc.git vlc'.
And contribs, vlc-contrib-i686-w64-mingw32-latest.tar.bz2, 20160121, 20151104, 20151023, 20120402, vlc-contrib-i586-mingw32msvc-latest.tar.bz2, etc.

Please let me know which version I can use.

Then I begin again.

Best regards,
Gwanyoung Kim.

Why you want to recompile vlc ?
What is wrong with vlc for your target system ?

My target system is no problem.
I just want to compile the vlc source code.
But the ubuntu give me errors.
