Adding HEVC support to old version of VLC

Postby MidnightCoder » 09 Feb 2016 17:34

I'm wondering if it is possible to play h.265 files using VLC 1.x by copying the right newer dll from VLC 2.x to the VLC 1.x folder? Or this is impossible?

Any other way other than upgrading to 2.x plus?
