I am using MobileVLCKit to handle video playback in an iOS app, and trying to use VLCMediaThumbnailer for thumbnail generation. This seems to work well for locally stored video files, but the thumbnailer doesn't seem to function with video downloaded via HTTP (i.e., progressive download). Are there any recommendations as to how to generate thumbnails for remote video accessed via HTTP?
