Using plugins on windows.

Postby neosettler » 25 May 2019 20:34

Greetings,

libvlc 3.0 #include <vlc/plugins/vlc_threads.h> with Visual Studio on Windows 10:

It seems like I'm hitting a wall. For instance:

Error C3861 'poll': identifier not found

I thought this was a cross platform api, what I'm I missing?

Thank you,

This doesn't mean it builds crossplatform out of the box, it means it runs crossplatform :)

Building vanilla vlc directly from VS is not really supported... you can have a look at https://github.com/robUx4/vlc-msvc though
