Hello!
I was thinking of an addon that extracts the currently shown subtitle so that I can copy/paste the words from it (it is very convenient when you want to translate an unknown word, for instance).
So, is there any way to get the text currently shown on the screen via some method? I have checked the official guide and tried to google, but I hardly found anything.
I would really appreciate your help!

So far, there is no API for that. It's a common request, but there is no simple way for now.

You need to do a specific text rendering module that has an api for this.
