How to create a .mp4 file by mixing .mp4 and .mp3 files

Hello,

I don't manage to find the best solution to do what I want with libvlc.

I need to create a new .mp4 file, by mixing :
- a .mp4 file
- several .mp3 files, played at different moments (some are played once, other are played in loop).

I've succeeded in playing what I want on my computer by creating several media players, each associated to one media.

But I don't manage to output all this in a unique mp4 file (if possible at full speed).

I've examined the source code of vlmc but it's not easy to find what I want. So a little help would be very appreciated.

Use an actual video editor.

Thansk for the suggestion, but I need to do it from a program, maybe even in real time.

I was hoping that someone would be able to explain how it works in vlmc.
