Https playback on Android

Postby Ltty » 11 Aug 2014 13:11

I am using a self-signed certificate on a webserver, which provides access to a HLS live stream using Https. However, because of GNUTLS, the self-signed certificate will not be accepted. I know that there is the --no-check-certificate option in GNUTLS. However, I am unable to use this in VLC.

Does anybody know how I can playback https streams with self-signed certificates?

Best regards,
Florian

With LibVLC, you can't.

You need to wait for an extra API for this.
